奖讯 | 泰国芭提雅钻石海岸斩获 2021 MUSEDesign Awards 铂金奖

美国时间9月2日，由美国国际设计奖项协会（IAA）主办的2021年第五届第二季「Muse Design Awards」缪斯设计奖结果出炉。由英国杰典建筑设计的泰国芭提雅钻石海岸从全球102个国家或地区的近4.3w余个参赛作品中脱颖而出，受到评委一致好评，成功斩获建筑设计类铂金奖。

On September 2nd, 2021,  "Muse Design Awards" sponsored by the International Design Awards Society (IAA) was announced.  Pattaya Diamond Coast Resort , designed by BAI Design International Limited, stood out from nearly 4.3 million entries from 102 countries or regions around the world and was nominated by the judges, winning the Platinum Award for architectural design.

On the Pattaya's southern island, where is growing luxuriant coconut palms. The architecture is in harmony with the sky, coastline and lush vegetation on the island.

将自然带进建筑里

Bring nature into the building

城市化拉伸了我们与自然的距离，所以 把自然放到建筑里 ，对任何人来讲都是有意义的。这种内外互换的丰富性，也拓展建筑的感知边界，带来一些新的感受。

Urbanization has stretched distance from humankind to nature, so it is meaningful for anyone to bring nature into architecture. The richness of the exchange between inside and outside also expands the perceptual boundary of the building, bringing some new experiences.

“用一朵莲花商量我们的来世，然后用一生的时间奔向对方”道出了设计师以场景取代建筑的用意。我们设想建筑是一个向 自然开放 的空间，这种 无边界的渗透性、融化性 将我们对自然的感知置于体验之中，使 建筑与外界，人与海洋相依共存 。

“Narrate our afterlife with a lotus flower, and run to each other by a lifetime” expresses the design intention of replace architecture with scene. We imagine the architecture is a space open to nature, and this kind of borderless permeability relates our perception of nature into the experience, enabling the coexistence of architecture and the outside world, as well as human and the ocean.

结合场地自西北向东南逐渐变高的地形条件，设计利用高差将建筑依势层层抬高，在回应了透视法则的同时， 使建筑充满韵律和动感 。

Answers the terrain condition that the site gradually becomes higher from northwest to southeast, the design uses the height difference to raise the building layer by layer, which responds to the perspective law and fills the building with rhythm and movement.

海岸绿林中漂浮的极简诗意

Minimalist poetry floating in coastal greenwood

极简，是因为想要表达的更多，希望留出更多空间。 纯净白色的极简建筑，用自然的线条勾勒，就像潮起潮落沙滩上的印记，创造柔和的以及流动 的线条，模糊着与自然的边界。

Be  minimalist is in orderto express more and leave more space.  The pure white architecture which contoured with natural lines, like the marks on the beach where the tide rises and falls, creates soft and flowing lines that blur the boundary with nature.

建筑 下段架空引入自然 ，围合出一条郁郁葱葱的绿谷，且巧妙地将地平线那浩瀚的海洋背景转化为建筑之间的流动内景。建筑拖在波光粼粼的水中，犹如 海岸绿林中漂浮的极简诗意 。

The lower part of architecture is elevated off the ground and bring the nature, enclose a lush green valley, and subtly transforms the vast ocean background into interior between the buildings.  The architecture floats in the shimmering water like aminimalist poetry floating in a co astal greenwood.

由绿谷向上望去是架在空中透明清澈的“ 水立方 ”，垂直的海天一色相互交融带给人极致的体验。

Looking up from the green valley, people can see the transparent and clear "Water Cube" in the sky. The vertical integration of sea and sky brings tourist the ultimate experience.

睡在自然中

Sleep in nature

为了让住客感受到“ 打开门便能跃入泳池 ”的新鲜体验感，一层客房将户外与室内连通，房间被水面环绕，并且带有私人庭院与温泉泡池，能够感受更独立的私人度假空间。

In order to provide guests with a fresh experience of "Jumping into the pool when open the door", the first-floor rooms connect outdoor and indoor and surrounded by water. The rooms have private courtyards and hot spring pools, providing a more independent and private resort space.

高层流动的立面单元注入“ 每个房间都是一个独立空间 ”的概念，露台也设置了步入式空中泳池，绿茵环抱，全方位地感受到周围的自然景观进入室内，犹如睡在大自然中，享受自然中的生活哲学。

The concept of "Each room is an independent space" is infused with the flowing facade units at the upper level, while the terrace also features a walk-in sky pool, surrounded by green grass. Tourist can feel the surrounding natural landscape in an all-round way and enjoy the philosophy of living in nature when sleeping.
