The spatial qualities of the pavilion only unfold when accessing the structure and being immersed within it. Each entrance allows for a specific journey through the space, characterized by color, light and irregular shapes with surprising volumes." © Iwan Baan, courtesy of Serpentine Gallery 此外，此项设计与之前的建筑委员会的著名设计师设计的作品一脉相承，Sou Fujimoto, Herzog & de Meuron with Ai Weiwei, Peter Zumthor, Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Rem Koolhaas,等：“我们都很清楚第十五届场馆的纪念意义，这座场馆必须设计得不同凡响，就当做是对所有设计理念的献礼。” Further, the duo aligns their design with previous commissions, designed by a who's-who of notable architects (Sou Fujimoto, Herzog & de Meuron with Ai Weiwei, Peter Zumthor, Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Rem Koolhaas, to name just a few): "We are also very much aware of the pavilion’s anniversary in our design for the 15th annual commission. It is a place for people to meet in, to have coffee and to experience the live events we put on throughout the summer."
