在巴黎东郊的第20区，紫色星辰电影院成为了郊区开发的一个新亮点，由巴黎设计师hardel & le bihan设计，这座建筑周围是住宅、活动区和公园，缺乏剧院等其他娱乐场所，所以新电影院的建设对周边社区来说非常重要。底层的体块非常低调，临街设置了一些零售商店，为过路的行人提供服务，从地面开始，一个上升的玻璃走廊引导来客进入上层的公共空间，黑色的主体与透明的走廊形成了鲜明对比，在周围环境中非常醒目。封闭的玻璃走廊围绕着黑色的实体体量上升，经过一个室外平台，在这个高台上可以欣赏周围的全景，迷宫似的花园内产生了许多有趣的“微空间”，在这里可以进行室外放映、举办聚会或是其他活动。走廊继续围绕主体快上升，直到最上层。封闭在黑色表皮内部的是多彩的银幕空间。

in the 20th arrondissement on the eastern periphery of paris， the 'étoile lilas cinema' has become a new addition to transform the outskirt development. completed by parisian firm hardel & le bihan， the structure contributes to the lack of theaters and activates the renovated neighborhood by relating to the encompassing neighborhood's housing， activities and parks. a low profile volume at ground level contains street level shops for passersby. beginning at ground level， a ramping corridor enclosed with transparent glazing is visible from the surrounding context and leads visitors to the public areas above the base. the enclosed path projects from the black monolithic exterior， passing an outdoor terrace with elevated panoramas of the area. a labyrinthine garden generates playful micro-spaces for open-air projections， parties and events. the corridor continues to ascend， wrapping the perimeter wall of the tall block which rests above its retail base. the solid， black facade conceals the stacked screening rooms but subtle shifts within the floor plates defines their extents
