日本室户温泉中心被称作“三头鲸鱼”的“温泉中心”是由东京-法国马赛-巴黎ciel rouge creation建筑事务所设计的，他们用三个椭圆形体量表现了各种海洋主题，这座温泉spa位于日本室户。建筑沿海岸建设，位于utoco宾馆和海水中心旁边。狭长宽阔的空间为人们营造了一个受遮蔽的海景，犹如一个平静的海床，而木结构屋顶好似一艘倾覆的大船或者鲸鱼的肚子。低矮的白色隔墙让人们可以看到空间顶部，强调了大空间的整体连续性，以及类似帐篷的室内空间特点。水平的玻璃窗创造了几乎无遮挡的美丽海景，但是内侧有规律的设置了一系列立柱。

unofficially dubbed the 'three whales'， the 'centre thermal' by tokyo-marseille-paris-based firm ciel rouge creation recalls various marine motifs with the completion of the three elliptical volumes that make up the thermal spas in muroto， japan. the cloister is located next to the utoco hotel and seawater center along the coast as the newest addition to the complex. the long expansive spaces form a sheltered seascape like a calm ocean bed， while the timber roof construction seems to follow the structure of an overturned hull or whale's stomach. low white interior partitions provide a glimpse of the space overhead and emphasize the single continuous mass that stretches like a tent over the services inside. a horizontal band of glazing almost uninterrupted but regularly spaced circular columns frames a horizontal view of the ocean in line with the horizon - cutting out the sky and immediate ground and presenting the tranquility of the distant seas.
