吉隆是维多利亚州的仅次于墨尔本的第二大城市，它是一个保健康复中心地带，这里有精神治疗中心和物理治疗康复中心。设计师billard leece在这里设计了一个特别的康复医疗中心。该医疗中心的有着一个像足球一样层次的结构，整体是一个U形，项目包括个人的房间，行政中心和公共领域，分别沿着这个U形扩展。项目的庭院带有花园，内部种植着树木，可以减轻人们免受大风的摧残。建筑的结构简单，材料采用的是白松木木板，经久耐用，易于安装，还能保暖。
four kilometers from victoria’s second largest city, geelong, is a healthcare hub containing several structures aimed at the mental and physical betterment if the surrounding townships. the newest addition is the ‘belmont community rehabilitation centre’ by australian practice billard leece partnership, which is adjacent to their kardinia health GP super clinic project completed 2 years prior. the one level structure’s footprint resembles a skewed ‘u’ shape placing individual’s rooms along the outer perimeter and the administrative and public areas towards the core. a wind-protected courtyard filled with gardens and trees offers a peaceful environment for the inhabitants to disconnect. in order to realize an easily-built structure, white cypress timber planks were implemented as the primary facade material for their durability, ease of installment, and overall warmth.
