Assistant Engineer, Pilot Plant
Responsibilities
• Perform water/ wastewater treatment pilot plant operation and lab testing for test samples
• Work closely with researchers/ team leader to conduct research and development for water and wastewater treatment technologies within project timeline and budget
Requirements
Diploma in Engineering (Chemical/ Environmental/ Mechanical)
• Hands-on experience in operating chemical process plant or water treatment plant would be an added advantage
• Able to perform 12 hours shift (including night shift) for pilot plant operations
Research Engineering Manager (Biological/Environmental Engineering)
Responsibilities
•Develop new biological technologies related to MBR, MBBR or other new emerged biotechnologies
•Take engineering leadership role in piloting, system engineering, and preproduction process related to MBR, MBBR or other products/systems
•Working with membrane team leaders to develop/enhance the membrane products/systems
•Develop technical solutions for resolving waste management, water quality, and other environmental issues using MBR, MBBR or other products/technologies
•Devises tests, procedures and apparatus required to achieve successful commercialization of new technologies, products systems
•Participate in project development to determine what to do to solve problems and plan the development necessary for solution
•Write comprehensive technical reports and product/system specs, provide necessary training to project design/engineering and production team
•Continuously observe, analyse and assess scientific and technical trends in new products, processes, technologies for membrane/biological applications
Requirements
•Degree in chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering
•Masters in Biological/Environmental Engineering
•At least 8 years of experience in wastewater treatment industry, preferably with MBR experience with 2 years of pilot experience on wastewater treatment is required
•Capable of wastewater process and engineering design, preferably hands on experience on BNR process
•system engineering
•Knowledge on biological treatment of various industrial wastewaters and project management experience is preferred
•Familiar with various water or wastewater treatment processes and systems will be crucial for the success of this position
•Leadership experience for research engineering team is desirable
