HID lamp, both HighBay or LowBay usually have 200W or above. If power is insufficient, funny color( yellow shift or purple shift ) will be the result. Lots people, including Philips Lighting or GE Lighting talk about designing Electronic Ballast with dimming function for HID. Had not seen it yet. Now, only core and coil ballast ( transformer ) is available for HID.
By the way, if you have Electronic Ballast with Dimming function for HID lamp, please let me know. There will be millions of dollars for you and me to make. Hehe.

只看楼主 我来说两句目前我国的电网电压,都存在下半夜电压升高的现象,升高幅值达10%-15%,如果照明系统采用传统电感镇流器,这时灯功率将急剧上升,使线路总损耗将增加37%-47%,不但浪费了大量电能,而且大大缩短了灯泡及镇流器的使用寿命,为此还会增加大量的维护费用。而该恒功率系统,可在电网电压上升至15%以下范围内,由恒功率变换开关自动变换电感镇流器阻抗,使灯泡在额定电流下运行,以达到灯功率恒定输出。这样不但节约了由于电网电压升高,而引起灯功率上升产生的损耗,而且还可以大大延长灯泡及镇流器的使用寿命。该系统还可用于脉冲型金属卤化物灯,它比LC超前顶峰式漏磁通镇流器损耗降低50%-60%,而且产品体积小,重量轻,温升低,便于灯具的一体化设计。
