Abstract Jiuyuangou watershed is located in the hesvy and coarse sediment region of middle reaches of the yellow river.It is a experiment typical basin and exampling region of soil and water conservtion ec-construction.water resource optimum utilization is one of chiefly contents of example.based on the principle of multiobjective analysis model ,the status of water sustainable utilization was analysed and studied.the results showed that:1)under low water,water resource is enough development requirenment;2) The water environmental capacity increases,cleanse capacity strengthened;3)The social water level is general and is being improved and improved,through managing, blocking, holding, mixing(set);4) Have realized reducing flood 35.9% and sediment 69.2% benefits of reducing natural disasters well;5). Have produced the obvious effect above water of pond,could take obviously ec-environmental and travel benefits.
