Certainly it is a common topic, after all , we all architecture- persons. And I remember there is a word in philosophic book , that is “all is related”, it is perfect right. If you work in a foreign construction company , or receive an attracted project but its drawing is make in English language. You will sudden find it is useful to master a foreign language.　English only a tool , a tool can exchange our feelings, thoughts of design, view of value, technologies. And it occupied important position after our nation enter the WTO. In my city , there are quite foreign –invest projects in development areas . if you were a senior engineer, but you did not know English at all ,I could not imagine how would you discuss the important engineering problems.
(这当然是个普遍问题，毕竟，我们都是搞建筑的人嘛，我记得在哲学书上有这么一句话“普遍联系”这句话对极了。如果你在一家外企上班，或者接到一项十分看好的工程但图纸却是英文的，你就会突然发现掌握一门外语是多么的重要。
英语只是一个工具，一个能交换我们感觉、设计思想、价值观、技术的工具。　在我国加入世贸组织后，它所占的地位提高了，在我所居住的开发区就有许多外资的建筑工程，如果你是一个高级工程师，但如果你不懂英语，我真的没法想象你怎么和老外谈重要的工程问题。)
