1.Fittings and things
=The contractor shall provide all materials ,fittings and things necessary for the construction and completion of the work.
2.The contractor with makers or suppliers
=Two copies of every order placed by the contractor with makers and suppliers approved by the Engineer shall be furnished to the Engineer together with one copy of every drawing referred to in such orders.
3.Time to time
=The aggregates to be used shall be laboratory tested to establish their suitability for concrete ,and from time to time check tests shall be made of actual deliveries to the site ,to ensure that uniformity is being maintained.
4.Hand
=The contractor shall obtain and hand to the engineer test certificates relating to each delivery of cement.
5.Grout, mortar and plaster
=Only clean fresh water shall be used for mixing concrete, grout, mortar and plaster.
6.Other than
=For cleaning of formwork ,reinforcement and curing of concrete ,water other than potable water may be used if approved by the engineer.
Site in rolls
=No fabric shall be delivered to the site in rolls.
7.As and when
=Manufacturer’s test certificates for the steel shall be produced by the contractor as and when required by the Engineer.
8.All reinforcing steel and fabric shall be free form pitting, loose rust ,mill scale, paint, oil, grease, adhering earth or any other material that may impair the bond between the concrete and the reinforcement or that may cause corrosion of the reinforcement or disintegration of the concrete.
