Abstract: Lining of canal using Cast-in-place concrete is a widely used methodology to control seepage in irrigation works. However, anti-seepage capability of canal may be greatly discounted and life of canal be shorten if cracking develops in the canal, in particular, a potential threat on stafety operation of canal may be formed. This study, based on existing engineering practice, highlights characteristics, causes, and development of cracking. Cracking related issues were preliminarily analysed with cracking mitigation measures recommended.

摘要:现浇混凝土衬砌渠道是灌区广泛采用的防渗节水工程措施,但渠道裂缝不但影响防渗效果,减少使用寿命,更重要的是有可能形成渠道新的安全隐患。本文结合工程实践,从裂缝的特点、产生的原因、形成的过程等,对裂缝问题进行了初步分析,提出了减少裂缝的对策。
