职位设置目的Job Purpose：
Fast growing nLighten Technologies, a video projection display engine company, requires a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join its development team. Projects range from digital and analog embedded electronics control to hardware implementation of image display processing technology to design of microprocessor-based image data collection and feedback loops. Duties include product specification, PCB/PBA design, system development, and technical evaluation, all in a cross-functional startup environment that rewards innovation while maintaining strong quality standards.
This key position will work with industry expert optical, mechanical, electronic, and software teams to build a leading edge company supplying projection solutions to the fast-growing video display market.
主要职责范围Responsibilities:
· Provide hardware technical guidance to management and interdisciplinary teams exploring product architectural approaches.
· Lead and/or contribute to hardware development projects, especially release of the design into manufactured products.
· Coordinate vendor search and contact, and participate in technical capability evaluation.
· Help create effective development processes, suggest correct tools, and meet project schedules to deliver high-quality products on time.
Interact with OEM customers and vendors, especially Asian partners, to understand introduction and release requirements, and create products that simplify integration and exceed customer expectations.
专业知识、资历与技能Requirements：
Knowledge/Experience/ Skill/Competence Required
· At least 6 years’ hardware development experience at the system and PCB/PBA level.
· Solid knowledge of video data transmission and manipulation, preferably from a display-oriented background.
· Strong experience with embedded electronics, such as micro-controllers or image processing chips.
· Demonstrated ability to act as the technical lead for a cross-platform development team and deliver a successful product on time.
· Strong team, leadership, and mentoring skills.
· Organizational skills and ability to effectively document engineering work.
· MS degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent job experience.
· Ability to work closely with customers, understanding their requirements, and deliver accordingly.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Pluses:
· Experience with front or rear projection LCOS or DLP products.
· Deep knowledge of video decoders and image processing chips.
· Fluency in English.
