论坛—— “生态城市”
无论是经济的上涨、合理化和适当改进，或在于对贫民区的拆除，又或是在于创造全新的城市组织形态，有一点在长期以来一直是明确的，这就是当代城市增长会聚指数、大量增长的贫民区、特大城市出现的不可持续模式，以及无处不在的无计划地占用山林农田、都市铁路的兴建、无用途的烂泥地造成的对于从头开始规划设计并建造新城市的迫切需求。

将关于环境问题的尽职尽责的建筑规划实践看作是提出一种明确而积极的方向性转变的有效途径。建筑与周围环境相适应，解决方案将技术创新与对当地条件的创意解读结合在一起。建筑的问题归根结底还是要回到城市的范畴，因此，我们将最终的着眼点放在生态城市。生态和环境不仅是与必要的技术更新有关的问题，它们还代表了一种文化态度以及观察现实及其资源的一种方式，这在不久的将来是最根本的。

话题：

话题一：转化成新的用途

只要想想那些正在占领我们的周围环境的所有已经废弃的仓库、管道、烟囱、机械、建筑、电厂。直到今天，只有两种方式可以处理：拆除或遗弃。人们必须承认，对发展或我们成长的环境来说，这些方法并不是非常有用。由于环境保护和能源节约问题的重要性，设计需要以一种非凡的方式将技术创新与对现有建筑物的保护相结合。那么，更合理的机制是什么？

话题二：把回收的概念放在建筑方面

环境和生产性翻修破还了景观。城市升级过程中最艰难的部分可能位于城市之外。被改变了的景观，或者我们应该说，妥协了的景观，是“疏远的”，我们并不是每天都看到这些景观，并且在最后的分析中，它们也较少得到关注。从规模和严重性来说，比我们在城市里所面临的问题更严重。对于被遗弃的景观的采石场、矿山、垃圾堆等，我们可以做什么？
如果我们把回收的概念放在建筑方面，它意味着我们必须为建筑物的折旧做准备，以使它们可以进入一个新的时期。超越反思，退一步说，我们必须考虑如何使其适应新的文化，使其摆脱上个世纪的消费社会的习惯。未来是面向功能日益多元化、能够自给自足、而且与环境和谐共生的建筑。这是在今后的岁月里我们必须面对的艰巨挑战。

话题三：从能源问题到生活方式的颠覆

我们所熟悉的能源形势目前正在发生变化；由于资源迅速枯竭，人们可以感觉到这一过程正加快发展。这不仅仅是用一种能源代替另一种能源的事情，因为当时整个社会文化都与基于某种能源的生存形态密切相关。变化意味着完全颠覆一种生活方式。目前模式所基于体系的迅速过时正导致我们对待建筑的态度发生急剧变化。在城市发展以及城市建设和规划可持续性方面，新的能源分水岭要求如何提高能源效率并使城市结构合理化；机动性问题尤其重要。我们该如何来做？

Forum - “Eco City”
Whether the answer to slums lies in a rising economy, in rationalization and improvement in place, in demolition, or in dramatically new forms of urban physical organization, it has long seemed clear that the contemporary convergence of exponential urban growth, vastly increasing slums, the emergence of the unsustainable pattern of megacities and the ubiquity of a continuously sprawling, interurban, “non-place” ooze demands the construction of new cities, imagined from scratch.
These urgent issues as above give a strong and concrete signal that considers the practice of conscientious architectural planning on environmental issues an efficient way to suggest a clear and positive change in direction. Therefore, the forum focuses on the architecture in sense of sustainability is adapted to the surroundings, with solutions that combine technological innovation and a creative interpretation of the local conditions. Therefore, their indeed influences should extensively function on city environment. In this light, the forum ultimately set the foot on the city in sustainability (Eco-city).
Generally, we will call for the thoughtful provoke on how to become eco city and what should we do to move to the eco city. Also with the forum, we have first and foremost wanted to demonstrate that ecology and the environment are not only issues related to a necessary technological updating: they above all represent a cultural attitude and a way to observe reality and its resources, which will be fundamental in the near future.

There are certain topics as followings in relation:

Topic 1: Conversion to new use

Probably one of the greatest environmental impact, and direct consequence of technological innovation, is the large number of obsolete structures that the energy sector has abandoned along the path. Unfortunately Until today there were only two ways to interact with them: demolition or abandonment. One must admit that these procedures have not been very useful either for the development or the growth of our environment. Due to the important role played by environmental issues and energy saving, the project measures swords with the complexity of combining, in a non-banal way, aspects related to technological innovation with the conservation of existing structures. What are more sensible mechanisms at work?

Topic 2: the concept of recycling in an architectural context

The problems of pollution – environmental and ecological – eventually condition us to the same extent. And it is a matter of problems, in terms of dimensions and severity, are more serious than those we face in the cities. What can we do with the abandoned landscapes of quarries, mines, garbage dumps, etc?
If we place the concept of recycling in an architectural context, it means that we must prepare our obsolete buildings in order that they may enter a new season. Proceeding one step beyond in this reflection, we must think of how to adapt them to the new culture, casting off the habits of last century’s consumer society. The future is oriented towards architectures that are increasingly diversified in terms of function, that are self-sufficient and that coexist harmoniously with their surroundings. This appears to be the daunting challenge we must face in the years to come.

Topic 3: From energy to the lifestyle overturn

The energy situation we are accustomed to is today entering a phase of change. It was not just a matter of replacing one energy source with another, because by then the cultures were closely linked to forms of survival based on a kind of energy source. Changing meant to completely overturn a lifestyle, even leading to a radical change of our approach to building. In terms of urban development, of the sustainability of urban construction and planning, what should we do to improve efficiency and rationalization of the urban structure in terms of particularly crucial issue of mobility on urban mechanism and people’s lifestyle?
