IDEO O?位于曼谷东部快速发展的地区之一班纳 (Bangna)。班纳有着交通拥堵、内陆洪水、城市高温、空气污染以及缺乏绿地和公园等诸多问题。

The location of IDEO O? is in Bangna, one of the fast-growing districts in the East of Bangkok. Bangna is infamous for traffic, inland flooding, urban heat, air pollution and absence of green spaces and parks.

IDEO O?紧邻Sky火车站，以"零碳住宅"为理念，通过减少汽车的使用量来缓解班纳的一些问题，促进绿色生态的生活水平。

The IDEO O?, being centered around promoting Zero-Carbon Residents, is strategically close to the Sky train station, thereby making public transportation more attractive to the locals, thus alleviating some of Bangna’s problems by reducing car usage and promoting greener living standards.

为了顺应狭长地形的挑战，设计团队将水作为关键的景观元素，规划了水的曲线和动态形态，并将设计与植物材料相结合，将城市与自然文脉融合在一起。

To solve the challenge of the property, the design team used water as a key landscape element, by interpreting the curve and dynamic form of water and integrated the design with plant materials, as a result tiding urban and natural context together.

设计团队使用曲线欢迎人们来到场地中的动态空间，尽量不会让他们感受到场地的不规则性属性。

 With the curve gesture, the design team creates the dynamic space that welcomes people to the site and will not let them feel the irregularity of the site’s property.

IDEO O?的设计有独特的三层活动空间：地下、地面和地上。

The design of IDEO O2 has a unique three-layered of activities; underground, on the ground and above ground.

Functional divisions for various activities

高架自行车、慢跑道、游泳池等活动都在指定的户外空间内，串联起各自的用途，让居民有机会享受更快乐、更健康的生活。

The activities like the elevated bike, jogging trail and swimming pools are conveniently linked to serve their specific purposes in the designated outdoor space, giving residents a chance at a happier and healthier lifestyle.

设计团队还关注交通控制，他们设置了一个活动时间表，以优化设施的使用。

The design team also concerned about the traffic control, they set up an activities schedule in order to optimize the usage of the amenities for the users’satisfaction.

空气净化的植物选择

Plant Selection for Air Purification

设计团队小心翼翼地保护了现有的树木，并选择了本地的、能耐受高地下水位以及盐水入侵的新植物。

为了帮助过滤细小尘埃PM2.5及净化空气质素，植物选用毛状粗糙且含有大量小叶的植物。

The design team took care to preserve existing trees and select new plant materials that are native and resistant to elevated groundwater and saltwater intrusion.

In order to help filter fine dust PM2.5 and purify the air quality, plants are selected with rough hair and a large number of small leaves.

以增氧降温为目的，通过增加户外花园和休闲空间，成功实现氧气的概念，绿地占总面积的60%。

With the aim of adding oxygen and cooling down the city, the concept of O?=oxygen was successfully implemented by adding outdoor gardens and recreational spaces, up to 60% of total area.

为帮助缓解内陆洪水，该团队建立了种植区、地下排水系统和地下蓄水池，来管理该区域的雨水径流。多层植被有助于减少空气污染并为该地区降温。

To help alleviate inland flooding, the team established planting areas, an underground drainage system, and underground cisterns to manage stormwater runoff from the area.Multiple layers of vegetation help reduce air pollution and cool the area.
