项目是国家钢结构装配式住宅建设试点工程之一，作为保障性公共租赁住房，它将是许多年轻人在这座海边城市里的第一个家，需要尽可能满足新市民多元化的居住需求。

The project is one of the national pilot projects for steel structure prefabricated housing construction. As affordable public rental housing, it will be the first home for many young people in this coastal city, which needs to meet the diversified housing needs of new citizens.

设计面临的挑战是在40平米的标准单元内，提供可预制、易变化、多功能的空间。从未来使用者的角度看，装配式钢结构建筑给予了这个40平米单元最好的基底——通透方正、无柱无墙，能够最大程度地包容多种生活方式与居住结构。

The challenge was to provide prefabricated, flexible, multifunctional spaces within a standard 40 square meter unit. From the perspective of future users, the prefabricated steel structure provides the best base for the 40 square meter unit -transparent and square, column free and wall-less. It can accommodate a variety of lifestyles and living structures.

我们以年轻人“一人居”为基本原型，基于基本原型嵌套拓展系统，满足更多的使用场景。在“一人居”的模式下，40平米包括了U型厨房、独立卫浴、开放客厅、卧室和可变柜体。即使不考虑可变柜体，这个40平米的单元已经可以高质量地满足“一人居”的各种需求，做饭、读书、聚会、观影等都能以舒适的方式展开，满足年轻人对于生活中的仪式感的需求。

We take young people's "live by oneself" as the basic prototype and utilize an expansion system based on the prototype to expand the functionality of the space. Under the "live by oneself" model, the 40 square meters include a U-shaped kitchen, independent bathroom, open living room, bedroom, and variable cabinet. Even without considering the variable cabinet, the 40-square-meter unit has been able to meet the various needs of “live by oneself.” Cooking, reading, partying and watching movies can all be conducted in a comfortable way, and meet the needs of young people for a sense of ritual in life.

可变柜体依靠预埋式重型吊轨来实现，工厂车间同款具有很强的可靠性，仅需轻轻一拉，即可打开新的生活方式。第一层是一个完整的步入式衣帽间，共有8 M3体积 ，相当于200 个20寸的行李箱。第二层是迷你书房和客卧，衣帽间中的衣物起到了天然的隔音作用，使主卧与客卧之间保持相对隐私。在实际使用中，可变柜体也可停留在中间任意状态，卧室+书房，卧室+衣帽间，卧室+客卧，自适应人们在家中慵懒的状态。

The variable cabinet body is achieved by using embedded heavy lifting rail, which is the same model in the factory workshop. It is reliable and functionable, with just a light pull, it can open a new way of life. The first floor is a full walk-in closet with a total volume of 8 M3, equivalent to 200 20-inch suitcases. The second floor is a mini study room and guest bedroom. The clothes in the cloakroom play a role of natural sound insulation, so that relative privacy is maintained between master bedroom and guest bedroom. For the practical use, the cabinet can adapt to different forms of housing formatting such as bedroom + study room, bedroom + cloakroom, bedroom + guest lies, to accommodate people’s indoor leisure lifestyle.

这个40平米的空间能够满足单身青年、情侣合住和三口之家的需求，除嵌入式家具外，室内也预留了居住者二次软装改造的可能，在使用中可以满足更多元化的风格。

This 40 square meter space can meet the needs of single young people, couples living together, and a family of three. In addition to embedded furniture, the interior also leave space for the possibility of second soft decoration renovation, which can meet the needs of more diversified styles in use.

这是一个面向“Z世代”的保障性租赁住房设计，他们个性鲜明、注重体验，渴望被世界尊重。设计最大程度地弱化了租赁住房的“临时感”，将更多的“仪式感”打包在这个40平米的单元里。海边度假屋一般的材质搭配，仿佛凉爽的海风和柔软的沙滩，是这座城市想要给他们的温柔。

This is an affordable rental housing design for Generation Z, who have a distinct personality, a focus on experience, and a desire to be respected by the world. The design minimizes the "feeling of temporary" of the rental housing and packs more "sense of ritual" into the 40-square-meter unit. The general material collocation of seaside holiday house brings people a feeling of gentleness as the sea breeze and soft beach.
