中国台湾高雄国家艺术中心

2018年，高雄艺术中心--一个巨大的表演艺术中心--在中国台湾开幕，该项目由Mecanoo设计完成，象征着曾经的国际大港--高雄转变为一个现代的、多元化的文化城市。

该建筑的设计灵感来自于榕树开放的保护性形状，地面上有一个遮蔽性的户外广场，可根据亚热带气候的特点为住户导风降温。

该项目由荷兰Mecanoo公司设计，起伏的结构包括一个2,236个座位的歌剧院、一个1,981个座位的音乐厅、一个1,210个座位的剧院、一个434个座位的演奏厅和一个室外剧场。

总共7公顷的景观，在硬性和软性景观之间取得平衡，容纳了活动空间和后勤通道，同时创造了一个向邻近的魏武英公园倾斜的绿色。

designed by dutch firm mecanoo, the undulating structure incorporates a 2,236-seat opera house, a 1,981-seat concert hall, a 1,210-seat playhouse, a 434-seat recital hall, and an outdoor theater. the project is sited within a 116-acre park that was formerly a military training base in kaohsiung — an international port city in southern taiwan with a population of 3 million. in total, seven hectares of landscape, balanced between hard and soft landscaping, accommodate event spaces and logistical access while creating a gradient of green towards the neighboring weiwuying park.

不同的剧院，如音乐厅和歌剧院位于建筑结构与地面相接的五个核心或 "腿 "上。"核心 "与 "腿 "之间通过屋顶的门厅和地下服务层连接，地下服务层是每个剧院的后台区域。

different theaters such as the concert hall and the opera house are located in the five cores or ‘legs’ of the building where the structure meets the ground. the cores connect with one another via foyers in the roof and an underground service floor which houses the backstage area of each theater.

音乐厅的形状像一个阶梯状的葡萄园，中间是一个舞台，不同楼层高度的露台环绕着主席台，舞台的四面都有座位，观众可以近距离地欣赏演出。

同时，歌剧院呈马蹄形布置，有三个环形阳台，适合西方歌剧的演出，有七十多位乐手组成的乐队，座椅采用红紫相间的布料，配以中国台湾花纹，与深色的墙壁形成对比。

the concert hall is shaped like a stepped vineyard with a stage at its center, with terraces at different floor heights encircle the podium. with seating on all sides of the stage, the audience is in close proximity to the performance itself. meanwhile, the opera house is arranged in the form of a horseshoe with three circled balconies. this theater is suitable for western opera, with an orchestra of over seventy musicians. the seating is upholstered in a mixture of red and purple fabrics with a pattern of taiwanese flowers, contrasting with the darker walls.

设有434个座位的演奏厅是四个厅中最有私密气氛的。其不对称的构图和横跨两层的座位，是为室内乐和独奏会演出而设计的。 

演奏厅的座椅采用了与音乐厅相同的金色面料，墙壁上还挂着橡木。这个大厅的上半部分被一圈吸音窗帘围住，使空间内的混响时间可以根据特定的表演类型进行调整。

the 434-seat recital hall has the most intimate atmosphere of the four. with its asymmetrical composition and seating across two levels, it is designed for chamber music and recital performances. the seats in the recital hall have the same golden fabric as the concert hall and oak lines the walls. the upper part of this hall is enclosed by a circle of sound-absorbing curtains, allowing for the reverberation time within the space to be tuned to specific types of performance.

剧院有1210个座位，设计用于举办各种戏剧和舞蹈表演。灵活性是这个多功能空间设计的核心要素。

在剧院中，布局是可调整的，可以从一个典型的观众在前面的Proscenium舞台转变为一个三面有观众的推力舞台。

with 1,210 seats, the playhouse is designed to host a variety of drama and dance performances. flexibility is the core element in the design of this multifunctional space. in the playhouse, the layout is adaptable and can be changed from a typical proscenium stage with the audience in front, to a thrust stage with the audience on three sides.
